The School of Forestry's Experimental Center was established in September 2004 and serves as a secondary experimental teaching platform within the experimental teaching system of Guangxi University. In July 2008, it was approved by the Autonomous Region's Department of Education as an autonomous region-level experimental teaching demonstration center, providing services for undergraduate experimental teaching and scientific research for teachers and students. The experimental center covers an area of more than 8,300 square meters, which includes three main parts: undergraduate teaching laboratories, public open laboratories for scientific research, and research laboratories for teachers. The facilities are well-equipped, providing a relaxed and harmonious experimental environment for teachers and students. The total value of the existing instruments and equipment is over 60 million yuan, with more than 90 pieces of equipment worth over 100,000 yuan, including 29 pieces of equipment worth more than 300,000 yuan. These cover five major categories: forest cultivation, tree genetics and breeding, forest management, forest protection, and forest ecology. There are several research and teaching platforms, including the National Forestry and Grassland Administration's Central and Southern China Fast-growing Material Propagation Key Laboratory, the Guangxi Forest Ecology and Conservation Key Laboratory, the Guangxi Higher Education Institutions Forestry Science and Engineering Key Laboratory, the Autonomous Region-level Experimental Teaching Center for Forestry Science and Engineering, and the Autonomous Region-level Virtual Simulation Experimental Teaching Center for Forestry Science and Engineering.
